Ok peeps, training update for the week is listed below. Though the last game against NUS bears little significance, and finishing 4th in the group really isnt much of a consolation, we must approach the last game with a will to win.
We played some good football and with great team spirit against ITE and even more so against RP but it was not to be. Who knows what would have happenned if we were given the 2 controversial penalty decisions in both the RP and ITE game and took some of our chances. No luck I guess.
So as we approach our last game, it all depends on us on whether we want to finish last in the group with zero points or end the tournament well with a good win against NUS. As such, Pls try to attend all remaining sessions and give a great performance on the 10th of February. Thanks and see ya.

A CALL TO ALL NTU IVP SOCCER PLAYERS TO ATTEND TRAINING PLEASEE
ITS VERY DEMORALISING TO SEE ONLY 10-11 PLAYERS COMING WHEN THE TEAM HAS 22
And like what Coach mentioned before, show respect to the team and to the players who didnt make it through the selection by being committed and attend training.
In what way do you deserve to be in the squad?
last game vs NUS playing at NTU or at NUS?
I do agree that training is essential to build up the team and to prepare for matches physically and mentally. However, for the past matches including friendlies, did we apply what we have learnt? We train so hard and when it comes to the real thing we self destruct. If you think that seeing only 10 to 11 players coming down for training is demoralizing, then it's even more demoralizing to see the way the team is playing. Lastly, pertaining to the last question, "in what way do you deserved to be in the squad?" isn't that the coach's decision that we are all selected? It isn't nice to say all these things here and let the world know that NTU soccer is having all these problems. There are players who really have something important to attend hence they can't make it for training. There are some who chose not to come is because time and time they are not given a chance to play during matches what's the point of training so hard when you know you are gonna seat on the bench for the whole competition? Defeat after defeat and yet no changes are made. I'm not trying to get back at anything. Just addressing the problem why all these are happening. No hard feelings ya :)
bro..if u noticed the match against rp, elements of training were performed. eg. bull playing one-two passing with peng
how can coach change things if players do not attend training? but yes sometimes yr 4 must do FYP..tats understandable
Btw how do I address you. You're so active yet nobody knows who is saying all these. It's like handing up your exam paper without writing your name. I'm sure you didn't forget that right? Why this time.
Chill la ppl.. no need to be like dis.. super sad u noe.. N AWESOME RIGHT MY 1-2 pass w Peng. Because i like him deep2, so dat was us spreading our love.. Guys i cant help but notice its all in all abt playing time.. I don mind sitting on the bench for the next game.. as long as the team is happy..
Sad Bull.
look guys, Bull would catch a grenade for ya. throw his hand on the blade for ya. lets all do the same.
Wahahahaha. Bro funny la you. Bro u see that kind of comment dont you think it's demoralizing. You think we want to be forced to come training? Of course we love to train and at the same time have fun. People want to come training one but some people just want to put such comments like respect la, whether we deserve a place la, we never win because no luck la. Come on. Do we need luck to win games? You mean we train so hard just to depend on luck to win. Worse of all train so much but everytime we go into a game, we do our own thing. The main aim of training is to get together to understand one another then when we come to game the understanding is all there. Unfortunately, when comes down to the real thing, everything falls apart eventually, time and time again. Do less complaining and scolding and let your football do the talking. Whatever it is, I just hope Mr Anonymous here gets the point. Carry on wearing that mask of yours. You must be the green hornet. Lol.
Sorry to say, nobody writes their name on theexam
Paper..we write matric number...
ntu soccer = the dutch national team. talented yet volatile. more often than not, it boils over at crucial points for example during tournament time.
Be a team ppl. If not, dont play the game.
