Great win guys, good character shown on the field today. However, its only the start of SUniG, two more big games to go. I urge you guys to stay on your feet. Yes, we celebrate the winning moments tonite, but there is still more to do. So come next training, the attitude must be right. No cockiness, no sluggishness. Remember, you can only win if you show consistency in every performance.
It was a good team effort. There were brilliant moments in the game, and individuals stepping up for the team at the crucial moments when needed. Thats what WE are all about. Play of the day goes to Ferdihao, who bolted his way from nowhere to put in the tackle when SIM speedy star striker had his chance on goal. Goal saving tackle. Any votes for Man of the Match?
For those who did not get to play or felt he did not play well, dont get emotional. I stress that its a team effort. Even those who did not make it to the final 22, they came to support. They are part of the team. We win and lose as a team. I need all 22 to be motivated to play. You may come from the bench and change the game, score the winning goal and be the hero of the day. But without being motivated and have the hunger, you wont be able to do it. So others please help to motivate the other guys too.
Training on Friday 25/09/09 starts at 7pm sharp. Attire: BLUE

Only 13 of you have paid me so far, i cant rem the other 2 names so please sound out if you were the one who has paid (Dont confuse me and please be honest)

I paid alr!!! Corrupted captain.
Just 2 points about the game I'd like to highlight:
1. After we conceded the goal, we were just standing around, maybe thinking "oh shit"... and subsequently we went a bit quiet. Maybe we ought to react better to such setbacks. Just pick the ball out of the net and get on with play. The quicker we recover, the better for us.
2. Towards the end there were some outbursts of screaming for mistakes like a poor clearance or two players going for the same ball. Though its really hard to control yourselves sometimes, its not helpful screaming your head off. We shouldn't panic.
Congrats on your first win guys... Train hard and play even harder! Win the Gold back to NTU!
