Hey guys,
Mr Chiang has suggested a training schedule for June. Monday's training will still be on going. Wednesday's training is cancelled. Instead, the boys will be asked to join the combined uni training at NUS on Thursday at 7pm and coach We Keat will be there too.
So proposed training schedule for next few weeks:
Monday - @ NTU 630pm
Thursday - @ NUS 7pm(together with the combined uni boys)
In other words, the NTU combined uni boys will train 3 times a week while those not involved in combined uni will still get to train twice a week.
Please feel free to put up your suggestions in the tag board.
Cheers!

so essentially we are training under the NUS coach once a week, who would then know our strengths and weaknesses right? I"m fine if you guys are ok with it and the training is effective with 30+ players.
actually anonymous has a point..i think training would not be as effective with 30+ players around..and of coz exposing our strengths and weakness to our rivals doesnt sound much of a gd deal either just to save a day of training...i think weihao's initial suggestion of combined uni players taking their own rest day is better..just my point of view...feroz
actually my view on this is that the key issue is not the nus coach getting to see our strengths and weaknesses. i mean seriously at our level, saying that they will be 'spying' and taking notes and using it against us in sunig or ivp is a bit far fetched. currently we're already training together and we can also see nus and smu's players' abilities, albeit not all of them.
i think the key issue is the number of players. some AUG trainings already see about 30 players..if now combine with ntu, we'll probably see 40+? that we'll be quite ineffective. however nus coach says he will bring in more ppl to train us, and if weekeat is there too, i think it'll be okay if training can be segregated. at the same time the rest of the ntu players can interact with the players from other schools and learn from each other, i think that really helps.
erm ya...i can agree with the numbers thing and it waits to be seen how they work it out...but i tink dun worry abt the exposing strengths and weaknesses thing la....the current uni plan is for the unis to work together to do better for aug as well as ivp in the yrs to come...dats y for jollilads training, the policy is all-are-welcome, doesn matter what uni u r in,doesnt matter if ure in the jollilads squad...in any case, i tink after working quite closely for past 2-3 yrs, the 3 unis noe alot about each other's players alreadi la, nothing to hide...i rather see it as learning from each other than exposing strengths n weaknesses...mr chiang, wekeat, arasu, etc all work together wan but of coz come ivp, we'll do out best for our own sch....
